NEW GENERATION SPORTS HAVE PARTNERED WITH HARTLEY DE SALES FOOTBALL CLUB TO BRING PLAYERS IN YEAR RECEPTION - YEAR 3 HIGH QUALITY FOOTBALL SESSIONS.

We believe that having a strong focus on the youngest players at any football club creates a sustainable future. Thus creating teams from within the club's own foundations will help those players play, develop and enjoy their football within a safe environment at a football club that truly values their development.

Fundamentals of the YDP:

Players leave their sessions having enjoyed their time at football
Players enjoy and work hard on individual ball mastery
Practice with creativity and imagination
Learn how to cooperate with teammates
Develop agility, balance and coordination

Ultimately these sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, especially as this could be a lot of players' first introduction to football. All sessions aim to start with some form of mobility, speed, balance and coordination element incorporated. We believe these are core skills which are fundamental to young people's development as footballers, sportsmen/women and people.

We believe that each player should be having at least 1000 touches of the ball in a 1 hour session. This will help every player become comfortable with the ball whilst learning how to control, pass and dribble the football. This is a technique we have used for over 10 years and we fully believe that the more time young players spend time with the ball, the more engaged they will be in the session..

The purpose of these sessions is to create U7 & U8 teams which will continue to grow through the HDS system right up to the senior team. Therefore, we believe that introducing games, matches and competition is vital for their development. Each session will conclude with 1v1 or 2v2 dual, game related practices or full 5v5 matches - dependant on the age group.

Please note, if you paid the FULL amount for Term 2 (October-December), your Term 3 fee will be £24 - due to 2 sessions being cancelled during that term.
